Community Partner

How a Community Partner Network Works

In an effort to provide improved access to services for our customers, Department of Children and Family had developed a Community Partner Network participants to work with mutual customers in a "multiple access" approach to self-sufficiency. By maximizing shared resources, to increase customer access to services needed to strengthen families in the local community by providing different levels of involvement.

The Department of Children and Families still remains the designated state agency to determine eligibility for program services/benefits.

What Does Our Local Outreach Center Do?

Our outreach center is a vital resource hub connecting residents with programs, resources, services, and support systems.

Our center bridges the gap between the community and various organizations, providing access to:

  • Assistance filling out DCF forms and gaining the benefits
  • Community events and activities
  • Health and wellness initiatives
  • Pathways to self-sufficiency and growth
  • Food Pantry

Partner Site's Role

  • Designate liaison to serve as single point of contact.
  • Perform services per agreement.
  • Provide data and pertinent feedback regarding services per agreement.
  • Safeguard client confidential information.
